Technical Notes
St. John's registered its domain name in 2001, and in that same year began hosting the site with Hostway. For the most part, graphics are constructed as jpegs using Paintshop Pro. The site is built with Dreamweaver by Macromedia The map is from Mapblast. Site traffic is tracked using Wusage, and traffic statistics can be found at stjohnsmadison.org/webstats/ . Currently the site receives appoximately 52,000 page views per year.

The Biblical Material
The Bible passages used throughout the site emphasize the biblical material from the John tradition or the community of the beloved disciple in the New Testament: the gospel of John, the letters of John, and the Revelation of John.
